Jeweler in the Dishwasher is located in Kansas City, Kansas and is owned and operated by Jacque Egnatic, designer of the unit.
Jacque has been in the jewelry industry for 35 years. She apprenticed with her father, John (Jack) Beasley, a well-respected and exceptionally skilled jeweler in the Kansas City area. After working in the family jewelry trade shop and later, the family's retail store, Jacque then worked in various retail jewelry stores as an on-site bench jeweler until opening her own store, McKibbon Jewelers (www.mckibbonjewelers.com) in Bonner Springs, Ks. in 1998.
In all the years in both retail sales and jewelry repair, Jacque is always delighted to see a customer's happy reaction when picking up their repaired piece. Not only was the customer pleased with the workmanship, but were also amazed by how clean the piece looked!
Most customers are almost apologetic for the grime that has accumulated on their rings, necklaces, bracelets, and earrings. Grease and soap scum had become trapped in the crevices and around the stones of their mountings. Many customers had tried home cleaning solutions or even purchased a personal ultrasonic. However, none of their results were ever satisfactory. The debris on the jewelry was never completely removed.
After years of experience and education in the jewelry field, Jacque has created a unit that turns a common home appliance into a professional jewelery cleaner with a little help, of course, from Jeweler in the Dishwasher!
It's a fact that cold cleaning solutions cannot remove grease and soap scum which inevitably collects in the crevices of jewelry. Jeweler in the Dishwasher secures to the top rack of the dishwasher. The hot water jetting through the unit combined with the degreaser in the dishwasher detergent provides a professional clean for fine jewelry!
