Do not squeeze the unit while opening, just hold lightly and turn.  If you hold the unit really tight, it won't open.  Be sure to TWIST the two halves to close, DON'T snap the halves together when closing, as it will compromise the design of the threads.

Twist to open container at center.

Place jewelry inside of unit and twist to close, make sure that the unit is COMPLETELY closed, there should not be any gaps between the two halves.

Insert enclosed zip tie through opening in ring on top of unit.

With the zip tie inserted in opening, attach the unit to the top rack of the dishwasher, making sure that the unit does not come in contact with the sprayer arm, and does not interfere with the detergent dispenser in the door.  Be sure that the zip tie is secured to the rack before starting the dishwasher.

When the dishwasher has finished the cycles, clip the zip tie to remove the unit and then remove jewelry.  If some residue is still visible, brush with enclosed brush or a toothbrush.

Do not place more than one ring in the Jeweler in the Dishwasher at a time as this may cause metal to become scratched or stones to chip from hitting against each other.  Placing more than one pair of stud earrings in unit at a time is completely safe.

Do not place chains, opals, pearls, turquoise, onyx or any rings that have stones that are glued in.

Be sure to have all jewelry inspected by your jeweler before placing into Jeweler in the Dishwasher, to be sure stones are secure.

Jeweler in the Dishwasher is not responsible for any stones that may become dislodged or lost during the cleaning process.  Jeweler in the Dishwasher accepts no liability for any damage to mountings that may occur during the cleaning process.
